Meeting Facilitator

Business Owner, Entrepreneur and Community Leader at Arena 42

Daniel is a business owner, entrepreneur and community leader with over 25 years’ experience in sports administration, venue management and business ownership.

He has been a business owner for 14 years and spent more than two decades working hands-on in the sports and facilities sector, beginning his sports management career at just 18 as a night-time duty manager.

Since then, Daniel has built, acquired and evolved multiple successful businesses, starting in 2012 with Brahma Lodge Indoor Sports Centre (which then became Action Indoor Sports Salisbury) and the launch of Adelaide’s first inflatable playground, Inflatable World Salisbury, in 2015.

In 2023, Daniel acquired the former Modbury ICA site and led a full-scale transformation of the facility, relaunching it as Arena42, Adelaide’s newest world class indoor sports and inflatable playground venue. The venue is now regarded as one of Australia’s leading indoor sports centres, hosting national and international indoor cricket events and earning Indoor Cricket Facility of the Year (2023/24) recognition.

Alongside his business career, Daniel is deeply embedded in community and sport. He has played and coached indoor cricket at state level, represented Australia in junior and masters teams, and has served the indoor sports community for over 20 years through board and leadership roles. These include time on the Indoor Sports SA Board including as President and previously held the position of Chairperson of the Stepney Saints Indoor Cricket club. Danel was the founder of the Salisbury Bulls Indoor Cricket Club in 2013, which is now the Northern Mavericks Indoor Cricket Club.

Daniel is also the creator of the Minus5 Movement, a newly formed initiative focused on connection, culture and community within indoor cricket.

As a facilitator with Tammy’s Table, Daniel brings a grounded, real-world perspective shaped by experience, including navigating growth, reinvestment, and challenging seasons. He is known for creating spaces where people feel understood, inspired and energised, encouraging honest conversation, shared learning and practical takeaways that support long-term success.

Tammy's Table has quietly become one of my favourite parts of the month. It’s not just about business chats, it’s the conversations, the laughs, the honesty, and being in a room where everyone genuinely wants to see each other do well. I always walk away feeling re-energised and ready to get things done. Just good people, real conversations, and so much encouragement. Thank you, Tammy Edwards, for creating such a wonderful community!
