I'm currently semi-retired. Prior to retirement, I held a number of senior and specialist roles in the Mining Industry. These included exploration geology, community engagement, environmental management and environmental assessment and approvals. I also hold an MA in Military History.

I started 3D printing to produce new terrain for the historic wargames I play, time permitting. Over time, this developed into my current business, 3D Miniatures & Terrain (https://3dmat.com.au/).

3D Miniatures & Terrain produce a wide range of 3D printed miniatures, terrain and collectables to order. The range includes fantasy, sci-fi, apocalyptic, and historical miniatures and vehicles, and terrain, as well as busts, dice towers and portals. Current historical periods covered are World War I, World War II and the modern period, including Vietnam, Arab-Israeli wars, and the Cold War. Plans are afoot to expand this to cover medieval and ancients, and Napoleonics.

For the Table-Top Role Playing (TTRP) community, we cover individual characters for gaming systems such as D&D, as well as a wide range of Non-Player Character (NPC) miniatures, monsters, NPC sets, transports, scatter terrain pieces and individual buildings. For those interested in larger sets, the range extends from a local block to full castles, apocalyptic walled localities and off-planet settings.

For the painters and collectors, we're launching the start of our range of busts. More busts and larger figures will follow.

We hold commercial licences from the designers for everything we sell, and our range continues to expand.

We're often seen at local and interstate events where we show a selected range of our stock for purchase. Our website shows our planned event attendances for the next six months or so.

Tammy's Table has quietly become one of my favourite parts of the month. It’s not just about business chats, it’s the conversations, the laughs, the honesty, and being in a room where everyone genuinely wants to see each other do well. I always walk away feeling re-energised and ready to get things done. Just good people, real conversations, and so much encouragement. Thank you, Tammy Edwards, for creating such a wonderful community!
