I’m a marketing and corporate communications professional with experience supporting organisations across a diverse range of industries. Throughout my career, I’ve led and delivered outcomes across brand strategy, business development, digital marketing, executive communications, recruitment, corporate social responsibility initiatives, partnerships, and event management.

In my current role at Altaira, I’m responsible for developing and overseeing the execution of Altaira’s business development and partnership initiatives across three key pillars: Labour Hire & Recruitment, Allied Health, and Training & Education. I’m passionate about building strategic partnerships that drive sustainable growth while delivering meaningful social impact.

I’m driven by collaborating with organisations that have a strong sense of community and a genuine commitment to giving back. I actively encourage those around me to embrace opportunities to make a positive impact and work closely with partners to explore community initiatives that align with their values and mission.

I’m proud to have supported the growth and impact of several not-for-profit organisations, leading campaigns that have secured significant grant funding and volunteer engagement. This includes my involvement with World Youth International, supporting overseas volunteering placements and programs such as Nurses In Action and Choose Action. In 2020, I launched Healthcare Heartbeat, a World Youth International subsidiary focused on improving the mental wellbeing of healthcare and emergency workers.

My work strongly aligns with my passion for supporting the next generation of healthcare professionals and the importance of positive ageing. At Altaira, I’ve been a strong advocate for mental wellbeing, facilitating the delivery of mental fitness programs designed to help prevent anxiety and burnout among aged care nurses, while also supporting the expansion of allied health services that strengthen the communities we live and work in.

As a ‘working mum’, blessed with two beautiful little girls Eva and Zoe, I value the importance of lifelong learning as well as maintaining a balanced lifestyle. My husband Justin and I train for and compete in triathlons, just for fun. If you can’t get a hold of me, it’s because I’m out playing in the garden with Eva and Zoe, climbing mountains, or doing laps in the pool – just keep swimming!

Tammy's Customer Journey workshop was fun, practical and focused on giving me an outcome in the form of a working document to guide streamlining our processes.

Tammy's Table has quietly become one of my favourite parts of the month. It’s not just about business chats, it’s the conversations, the laughs, the honesty, and being in a room where everyone genuinely wants to see each other do well. I always walk away feeling re-energised and ready to get things done. Just good people, real conversations, and so much encouragement. Thank you, Tammy Edwards, for creating such a wonderful community!
