Natalie Michels
Hi, I’m Natalie Michels. My husband Trevor and I have owned Coiltek Manufacturing for 18 years, and for the past decade I’ve taken on the role of CEO. Coiltek specialises in coil winding, metal detector coils, customised wire-wound components, electronic assembly, and contract manufacturing. We service a diverse range of industries including mining, medical, defence, audio, rail, environmental, and retail.
I thrive when I can take a helicopter view, working on the business rather than in it. Strategic planning, big-picture thinking, and cultivating strong partnerships are where I’m most energised. I’m also passionate about marketing and enjoy the creativity that goes into shaping direction, brand identity, and long-term goals behind the scenes. Supporting the team and ensuring the business continues to innovate and evolve is central to my leadership.
Alongside this corporate role, I run Alite Mind, my counselling private practice. I specialise in supporting women, teens, and children who are navigating challenges such as grief, anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional dysregulation, and life transitions. My work is grounded in creating a safe, warm, and steady space for those who place their trust in me. I integrate mindfulness-based therapy, expressive and creative therapies, and embodied awareness to gently support emotional healing, resilience, and self-connection. Balancing these two very different businesses is definitely a juggle at times, but they are both roles I value deeply. This is why I really appreciate stepping out of the day-to-day and surrounding myself with like-minded business people, spaces where we can inspire, challenge, and support each other. Being part of a community like this helps me reset, gain perspective, and bring renewed clarity and purpose back into my work.
